She began her career the legal profession in 1996 as a trainee receptionist/secretary working within family law. Jacqui then spent 24 years working in defendant insurance law as a legal secretary, assisting various solicitors with cases regarding housing disrepair, disease, employers liability and public sector work. She then worked a brief time in property law to expand her experience in another area of law, before joining Medical Solicitors to focus solely on medical negligence claims.

Outside of work, Jacqui likes to spend time with family and friends making memories on days out.
