His career to date has centred on high-value clinical negligence, serious and catastrophic injury, and asbestos-related disease claims, where he handles complex issues involving budgeting, proportionality, and hourly rate disputes. He is also well-versed in a wide range of technical and niche costs matters, including fixed costs, qualified one-way costs shifting (QOCS), and solicitor-and-client assessments.
Enthusiastic about supporting others in the profession, Liam enjoys mentoring those entering the field. He has delivered training to legal teams on time recording, drafting practices and software, and recent developments in case law.
