Joel gained his Legal Practice Certificate in 2006 from the University of Sheffield and qualified a Costs Lawyer in 2018.
Joel has practised law for over 15 years and has a wide range of experience in different areas of law. He has strong ties to Sheffield having been born here and living here his entire life save for a 3-year spell living in Shanghai, China.
He is highly motivated and works closely with our clinical negligence team in order to conclude cases efficiently. He has a particular interest in costs case law and advocacy.

In his spare time, Joel enjoys reading, watching sport and playing football. He enjoys socialising with family and friends and travelling both at home and abroad.
