Who are the Tigers Trust?
The Tigers Trust is an independent charity based in Hull that is affiliated with Hull City Football Club.
They are a small charity with a big heart that aims to make a difference to the lives of people in Hull and East Yorkshire by involving them in sport.
They work with children, young people, adults, and those with disabilities, delivering inclusive, high-quality opportunities designed to boost health, social connection, and community strength.
Their initiatives help tackle local challenges such as social isolation, inactivity, health inequalities, and limited access to inclusive sport opportunities. For every £1 spent they achieve £21.33 in social impact.
From education and employment pathways for young people, to a memorabilia and heritage projectfor older football fans, and helping youths who’ve experienced the criminal justice system stay on the right side of the law, their programmes reach right across the community.
Football for Everyone
Football has a unique ability to bring people together, to lift spirits, and to create a sense of belonging.
The disability walking football sessions run by Tigers Trust provide opportunities for people of all abilities to enjoy the game they love in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Walking football is more than just a slower version of the beautiful game. It’s a powerful way to bring people together, improve physical and mental wellbeing, and ensure that football truly is a sport for all.
Over 130 people take part in a Tigers Trust walking football session at the Tigers Trust Arena each week. Participants can stay active, build confidence, and experience the camaraderie that comes from being part of a team - values that resonate deeply with our firm’s commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and care.

The disability walking football sessions are held each Wednesday morning at the Tigers Trust Arena in Hull.
Shared Goals
In our work as medical negligence solicitors, we see first-hand how important it is for people to have the right support when life takes an unexpected turn.
Our clients often face long journeys of recovery and rehabilitation - journeys that require courage, teamwork, and persistence, much like the challenges faced on the pitch.
That’s why this partnership means so much to us. Partnering with the Tigers Trust allows us to extend our ethos of care and support beyond the legal process, reaching into the heart of our local community.
Supporting the disability walking football sessions is our way of giving back to the community and helping to promote activities that make a real difference in people’s lives.
It has been championed by Lynsey Furley, head of the Hull office. She says; “I often hear from my clients how isolated they can feel due to having a disability. As someone who lives and works here in Hull, I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work the Tigers Trust does in our community.
“Their inclusive sports sessions have such a positive impact on those attending their sessions and makes a real difference in their lives. We’re honoured to play a small part in that moving forwards.”
We’re excited to see this partnership grow and to celebrate the achievements of everyone involved. Because whether it’s in law or in football, one thing is certain: we achieve more when we work together as a team.
